Blair I. Reuben, M.D., FCAP

An Arizona resident since 2000, Dr. Reuben is board certified in anatomic pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Dr. Reuben did his undergraduate work at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana campus where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and he received his MD degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. After completing his four year residency at Harbor -UCLA Medical Center, he began practice in Southern California. He was in private practice at Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, California from 1987-2000.

Dr. Reuben has been with Western & Pinnacle Pathology since 2000 and is an active member of the Honor Health medical staff, with contributing roles in numerous clinical conferences and network committees. Dr. Reuben is a past president of the Arizona Society of Pathologists and is a current laboratory accreditation inspector for the College of American Pathologists. He is also a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, and the Arizona Medical Association.

Dr. Reuben has a wealth of experience in surgical pathology, breast pathology, cytology, gastrointestinal pathology, and rapid on-site evaluation of fine needle aspiration. Dr. Reuben has performed over 4,000 fine needle aspiration biopsies. He has also served in medical directorship roles and has extensive laboratory oversight and management experience. He has published and presented both locally and nationally on a variety of topics.
